‘Shadowhunters’ Casts Matthew Daddario + Isaiah Mustafa as Alec + Luke
Two more cast members have joined the demon-fighting ranks on ABC Family‘s new series Shadowhunters, based on The Mortal Instruments books by Cassandra Clare.
Matthew Daddario and Isaiah Mustafa (yes, the former Old Spice Guy) have signed on to play Alec Lightwood and Luke Garroway.

As in the books, Alec is a Shadowhunter, a member of a group descended from angels tasked with protecting the world from demons, vampires and werewolves.
Luke is a former Shadowhunter turned werewolf, and unlike the books is now an NYPD detective trying to solve a series of supernatural murders.
Because obviously he’s too sexy to own a bookstore.
The already assembled cast includes Katherine McNamara as main character Clary (Luke’s niece), her best friend Simon (Alberto Rosende) and the rest of Alec’s family: his sister Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia) and adopted brother Jace (Dominic Sherwood).
