Agnes Bruckner Joins ‘Once Upon A Time’ in Mystery Role
Agnes Bruckner is headed to Once Upon A Time!
The actress, who played Anna Nicole Smith in Lifetime’s The Anna Nicole Story, has been cast in a three-episode arc on the series. However, the role is a mysterious one, as all details surrounding Bruckner’s character are being kept secret. In addition, the timing of her first appearance is cloaked in secrecy as well, suggesting she may have a huge part to play in the second half of Season 4. Could she be associated with the Queens of Darkness? The major story for this half of the season centers on the threat presented by Ursula (Merrin Dungey), Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten), and Cruella De Vil (Victoria Smurfit), who team up with Mr. Gold/Rumpletiltskin (Robert Carlyle). So it’s expected that any potential guest stars will loop into that storyline, as we already know that Ernie Hudson will star as Poseidon, Ursula’s father, as well as Sebastian Roche as Maleficent baddie King Stefan. We also know that Eion Bailey will return as Pinnochio and JoAnna Garcia Swisher will return as Ariel. In short, Bruckner is joining a stacked cast for the second half of Season 4.
But this isn’t all that the super-talented Bruckner has in store, as she will also star in A&E’s upcoming remake of the outstanding (seriously, OUTSTANDING) French drama The Returned, which premieres on March 9, the week after Once Upon A Time returns to ABC. Who will Bruckner play? Get to speculating, as Once Upon A Time will be back on March 1 on ABC.
