Adele Is Unstoppable: ’25’ Poised To Sell A Million Copies For Two Different Weeks
Adele is about to make history again. Her latest album “25” is forecast to sell more than a million copies on its second week. This would mark the first time an album has sold more than a million copies for two different weeks since Nielsen tracked sales data in 1991.
As of Dec. 3, industry forecasters suggest 25 should surpass 1 million in U.S. sales in its second tracking week (Nov. 27-Dec. 3). Nielsen Music earlier reported that 25 had sold at least 840,000 copies in its second week (through initial reports processed on Dec. 1). So far, 25 has sold more than 4.2 million in total in the U.S.
OMG I hope it happens.
