Adam Lambert and Queen Announce U.S. Summer Tour Dates

Adam Lambert is hitting the road with Queen for some big dates in the United States this summer.

Following the release of last year’s concert LP Live in Japan last year, Lambert and Queen are setting out on a 25-date summer tour, starting on June 23 in Phoenix, AZ, and concluding on August 5 in Houston, TX. Considering how great that LP is, I’d expect this to be a pretty badass show in person, and I might have to attend myself when the date rolls around.

With that said, the timing throws the future of The X Factor Australia further into doubt. It was initially rumored that Lambert might return if the show was brought back for 2018. But judges’ auditions, Boot Camp, and the Three Seat Challenge were filmed in July last year. Granted, it’s not inconceivable that Lambert might be able to spare a few days to make an appearance, but it’s more likely that he’s either not returning as a judge, or the show will not be back for 2018. Then again, I suppose they could move everything up, and either film auditions/Boot Camp/Three Seat Challenge in April, May or early June. But you’d think we’d have heard something about open auditions by now, if that were the case. Either way, I think it’s becoming more likely that if the show does come back, it’ll be without Lambert, which is a shame, because Adam was one of the best parts of last season.

But onto real business, as we’ve got the dates for the 25-city tour. Check out the full tour schedule below:
