WWE Announces Wrestlemania 33 Host City

Where will Wrestlemania 33 take place? WWE has finally made the official announcement: pro wrestling’s biggest show is returning to Florida!

The Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL will host Wrestlemania 33 on April 2, 2017. This is the second time the venue has hosted the event, as Wrestlemania 24 took place at the Citrus Bowl. In addition, this is the third time Wrestlemania has come to Florida over the course of the past decade, with Wrestlemania 28 taking place at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium.

Personally, I’m kind of over the outdoor look of Wrestlemania, since it feels like WWE is trying too hard to make this like the Super Bowl. I suppose I just miss the classic, closed arena look. However, the plus side here is that having Wrestlemania air on the East Coast means The Undertaker will at least be able to avoid coming to the ring in broad daylight. Silver linings!
