This is VIX – The Voice of American Idol X Factor!

The result of the Top 8 is in and it’s a bit of a shocker (for me at least).

One of our judges JeffreyChrist was not available tonight so we had the other three judges (Noelle, Howard and Gabe) determine one of the eliminations, in a best of three with no chance of a “deadlock”.

It’s a double elimination and here are the results!

The person with the lowest votes and eliminated is: Javier Colon!

Pia Toscano is safe!
Melanie Amaro is safe!
Haley Reinhart is safe!
Dia Frampton is safe!
Chris Rene is safe!

Josh Krajcik and Lauren Alaina are in the bottom 2. Who did the judges vote to save?

Top 6.. 3 from Idol. 2 from X-Factor. 1 from The Voice. I think thats fair

@Kaylo And the only winner left from the three shows is Melanie Amaro of The X Factor.

@Rickey haha! was just pointing that out.. And kudos to Melanie. Hopefully her album will be brilliant.. Another thing 5 of the Top 6 are female. Does that mean most of your readers are male, or do you have a more Logical explanation.

@simaikhaw@Kaylo Scotty has run away with that one. The fans from his fansite invaded that post just to vote. The least they could do was become regular readers of the blog right? I will close it soon.

@Rickey@Kaylo when are you going to close the poll for xfactor vs idol vs voice since you open but you didnot close or rickey you have forgotten about it dont waste our time voting

@Kaylo Most of the commenters now are male -- but I don't think readers are mostly male. It's still mostly female around 55%. I think the reason we have more females in this thing is viewer frustration over the past few years with male singers winning. Also, some of the fans just didn't bother (like Scotty's). Some of them think this is "beneath them" since Scotty already "won". They probably don't get that it's just for fun. It's really been interesting to compare performances from all three shows.
