“Ah, the struggle of being a team leader…. Melanie is safe, which is a wonderful thing. But with Chris René and James Durbin placed in jeopardy by the voters, I must take a look at the performances. Chris did well in his duet with Avril Levigne, but I’m afraid the same cannot be said about about James with Jacob Lusk, who both struggled with pitch. So I have to say it is Chris René who is making it to the next round, and James Durbin will be heading home.”
