UFC Star Conor McGregor on Nate Diaz Rematch: ‘I’d Love to Get That One Back’

UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor is moving on from his surprising loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196. However, he’s not entirely letting the loss go, as the champ is apparently keen on a rematch!

Although a featherweight title defense is likely in the cards for UFC 200, McGregor was quick to note that he’s looking forward “to coming back with a vengeance” against Diaz.

“I think I’d like to see that, yea?” McGregor told TMZ. “I mean, it’s one that interests me, most certainly. You know, when I look at the fight, I was winning the fight. I won the first round and a half, I feel. I’d love to get that one back. We’ll see how it goes. Money talks. Life is good.”

No opponent has been named for McGregor at UFC 200 on July 9, although Frankie Edgar has been calling him out on social media, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he got the fight. That said, I’d love to see McGregor-Diaz II somewhere down the line. That was a brutal, exciting fight, and a rematch could do big business for UFC.

Who do you think Conor McGregor should face at UFC 200? And do you think McGregor would beat Diaz in the rematch? Sound off in the comments!
