TV Ratings: ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Surges After Patrick Dempsey Shocker

Grey’s Anatomy had its highest rated show since the Season 11 premiere, after a shocking twist on Thursday night’s episode. It shot up to a 2.8 adult 18-49 rating (from 2.1 last week) and had 9.43 million viewers.

SPOILER: In case you’ve not been paying attention on the Internet for the last few hours, Patrick Dempsey’s character Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd was killed off last night. #RIPMcDreamy

The Big Bang Theory had a 3.9 rating and 14.40 million viewers.

Scandal had a 2.3 rating and 7.77 million viewers.

American Crime had a 0.9 rating and 5.77 million viewers.

Reign had a 0.3 rating and 0.84 million viewers.
