TV Ratings: ‘American Idol’ Slides, Falls Below 7 Million Viewers

American Idol fell to one of its lowest rated shows ever on Wednesday and fell below 7 million viewers for the second time this season.

The suffering is almost over however as the season ends next week, one week earlier than expected.

Idol had a 1.5 rating and 6.88 million viewers.

Survivor had a 2.1 rating and 9.33 million viewers.

Arrow had a 0.9 rating and 2.35 million viewers.

Modern Family had a 2.9 rating and 8.48 million viewers.

UPDATE: American Idol was adjusted down to 1.4, tying lowest-rated episode ever. Arrow was up to 1.0.
