TIME Magazine Reveals 100 Most Influential People 2016 List

TIME Magazine has revealed its list of the 100 Most Influential People for 2016, and the choices are an eclectic mix of newsmakers, from musicians and politicians to actors and athletes.

Naturally, being a leader in your field is almost a necessity for making a list like this, whether you’re a paleoanthropologist like Lee Berger, a champion sprinter like Usain Bolt, an entrepreneur and philanthropist like Mark Zuckerberg, a singer like Grammy and Oscar winner Adele, or an actor like recent Academy Award winner Mark Rylance. If nothing else, it’s a list of some of the biggest names in news, and some others you might not have heard about as much, but whose contributions are no less significant. There are even some cool surprises (hell, I didn’t expect to see Ariana Grande and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on this list, but I’m totally down with it).
