Got Something to Add?
He's god-awful. I don't get it...I don't understand how anyone can say this guy is good? His voice is wayyy to immature, he sounds like a kid singing in his room playing his guitar. I know he may be a nice guy, but sorry, no way can this guy sing...he can just barely carry a tune.
Very beautiful. He has a lovely voice; it is actually the best voice of the guys. He just doesn't have experience. But he has learned the thing that Mullet boy didn't get: love songs are what people want to hear, especially now, not suicidal songs.
Tim is getting better every week while others are sounding stale. I wouldn't be surprised if he won the whole thing.
...what!? How did everybody find this so good?
Tim should not still be here. The thing I'm wondering is how the heck did this kid beat Didi?
If you listen, his voice is actually pretty annoying when he sings softly. He's trying too hard to sound like a pop star or something... he slides up to every note which causes him to go off... and he tries to add this little growl or rasp into his voice?
I didn't find anything vocally impressive about this performance... when he sings louder he is nasally. His voice is really weak, especially in his falsetto.
I just don't get what was so great about this performance
Tim trying to hit those falsettos, again. Anywho, it was aight. What helped is that he picked a great song. Also, the dim lights took out of focus those insane Tim stares/glares. That helped, too. I still think he doesn't belong in the competition.
I actually agree with Lambert; that last note should've been a high one. That one part in the song when Tim goes high, was really nice. Smart choice though to look into the camera and sing "Falling in Love with You" to the tweenies! Plus his hair looked good today; not so helmet-like.
Anyone remember Season 7 when David Cook sang Neal Diamond's "All I really need is you"? (check it on YouTube.) Similar to this in that he looked right into the camera at the end and crooned that last note and closed his eyes dreamily; if anyone wasn't a David Cook convert before, that sewed up the competition, imo. D knew how to work the audience. And Tim is learning! Props for that.
He kinda sounded like Jimmy Ray, the has-been Elvis impersonator. Never mind. No matter what you say, he should have gone home a long time ago.
He exceeding my fears with this song by changing it up. Nicely done, Tim. I do wish he'd ended with the falsetto like Adam suggested but that's ok. It looked like Tim wasn't comfortable enough to do it. I hope he's safe another week. He's definitely not the worst singer of the bunch and is trying to improve. I love that. GO TIM!
what d hell,,, r u crazy he even don't deserve in the top 24!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bring back Didi, Katelyn, and Alex.........
PLEASE SAVE TIM! VOTE 5703!
His fans might get complacent. Please save him!
Go Timmy! If he leaves tomorrow I am going to freaking die.
Where I have been is NOT watching AI. LOL. I thought Simon had been saying for the last couple of weeks he was horrible? And weren't many people predicting last week that he'd go home? And hasn't he been in the bottom three a lot? Which would make this week the Sanjaya Effect - one performance which most people say is decent, and which Simon praises, and then offski.
Oh what the heck do I know. I don't watch the show. I just read about it on Rickey.org. LOLOLOLOL.
I can see Ryan and Michael Sarver (is he?) dancing sweet in the background. But Tim doesn't seem to be distracted. That's Teflon Tim!
Am I missing something - like what secret word is used to disguise the MP3's. Been looking for them for the past 2 weeks. Puzzled. Anyone ???
This week was great for Tim. This song really fits him. Very good song choice and arrangement. I remember this is like the "hallelujah" arrangement that he did in one of the episodes.
i liked andrew but he was so bad tonight , so it will be andrew and some one else , tim has like jeff buckely or cary brothers thing going on.
Ellen: "I didn't like Tequila the first time I tried it but then I took another shot and another shot and another shot"
Interpretation: You have to drink alot to really enjoy Tim's performance!
I'm not a really Tim fan, but this performance of Tim was good. It was an arrangement that I would buy
If he makes it past this week I really hope he wins it just to show what a joke this season has been.
Imagine that now that Timmy is improving he actually WINS the whole show, he´s just gaining more and more tweenies to vote for him
I can't believe it. Tim was actually pretty good tonight. I wish he had included the falsetto at the end, though. It sounded nice.
Oddly enough, that was really good. He's still not off-the-wall amazing, and exciting by any means, but he's proving himself. He's no where near as pitchy and horrid as he was just two weeks ago. I have to say well done to this performance.
of course i understand it, one thing i don't understand is why d ppol r voting for tim, when he is not even a great singer..... sori it's just my opinion
Dumba$$ Ryan & Blue Collar Michael Sarver from a couple seasons back. Why Michael agreed to be part of Ryan's dumb shtick is beyond me.
Me too, can't save link as like I could a couple weeks ago, hey Rickey, using different software,? Can't "save link as" with Adobe Flash Player.
I think Tim was really heart felt... and I agree with the Cary Brothers reference - and another to compare him to would be Joshua Radin. Just an acoustic singer/songwriter type of artist, which is very popular right now.
Hope he sticks around - i like to root for the underdog and see improvement. Not that he will win - but w0w, what a comeback if he sticks around for a while! Also, I am intersted to see if he can keep building on this momentum.
