I have to agree with Randy. It was a good Tim performance. It was by far his best, but he still sounds very kareoke to me. Now, if he continues to improve, he might actually grab my attention. Maybe the song was in his range and so it fit comfortably. I still think he's a better singer than Aaron.

He is current, young and cute. But he's absolutely not gonna win the title, some contestants who were voted off were much better than him.

I'm impressed with his performance last night,I think Randy Jackson was foul with his comment.

rickey, how about this conspiracy theory: The judges, especially Simon, were nice to Turban tonight. And so, this is how they will finally send him home... yes? Coz he won't get any sympathy votes anymore.

Between this performance and Andrew's performance tonight.. Tim is way up there...Andrew should go home..It seems everything is like that Paula Abdul's song...very boring Andrew is...

For the first time this season, I am sending all my votes Tim's way. He's actually has a pretty decent voice. I am impressed.

This was the BEST possible song choice for Tim - it's honestly what I would have suggested to him. I highly doubt he'll be going home this week.

It was a decent performance but it was nothing special. I think it's his time to go... he is the weakest link in my opinion.

i don't really get all the hate , hes not actually that bad of a singer. depends on what he does after the show he could be good. like soft alt rock. i'm sure him being a good looking guy helps him get votes though.

This was really good. He deserved more praise than he received. And no deer in headlights look!

This boy really has tough skin.I admire him so much for that. To go out there keep on fighting after the beatin and bashing he´s been getting is to stand up for.

I say he's one of those to drag up to top 3. then he gets booted off. do we have a term for that? like syesha and vonzell. they could use aaron or katie instead of him too. they could go as far as 3rd or 4th and people like crystal or lee will be eliminated earlier. or it could be that the judges are using reverse psych on him.

either way, the performance was kind of monotonous. it went bland after the first half.

After Katelyn and Didi get booted off, I'm rooting for the darkhorse, Tim Urban.

Listen to Bus Song by The Hollies... Tim's voice reminds me of the lead singer's in a way. Of course, not as great as The Hollies but his voice kind of sounds like the lead singer's!

He looks weird in that photo... definitely a bad hair day for Tim...

No matter what Tim does now, people think he is the weak link. That performance was very good tonight and if someone else did that they would get a whole lot of praise. The dude is charismatic, has a decent voice, gets beat up verbally every week but keeps on fighting and based on that, he really has the guts to make it in the music business because like Simon says, he takes it like a man and keeps on fighting like a karate kid :D!

It's funny that Simon was referring to his performance as "current"...my first thought was that he was closer in spirit to the Beatles' performance style (in more than just the hair) than anyone else so far tonight.

Kool, he gets props because he isn't as bad as he usually is.
