The X Factor UK 2015 Results: Who Went Home In Week Two? (VIDEO)

The X Factor UK 2015 brought us an intriguing second live show, as the theme this week was Reinvention, meaning some artists reinvented the songs they were singing, while others reinvented themselves. But, once again, two acts will be leaving the competition. The Bottom 3 will be revealed, and then the act with the lowest votes will be eliminated immediately, leaving us with two acts to duke it out in the sing-off.

Not unlike last week, I thought this week’s Top 11 performance show was another show in which it was hard to tell which acts would land in the Bottom 3. This has been a pretty exciting season so far, and after last week’s result, in which Bupsi and Alien Uncovered went home, it really does feel like no one is safe.

But which two acts went home this week? Find out the results below (with videos to come as soon as they’re available):

Hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack revealed the act with the fewest number of votes…

KIERA WEATHERS is eliminated from THE X FACTOR UK 2015!

Kiera is disappointed but states that she’s proud that she at least stayed true to herself. (“I did me!”) I’ll actually miss Kiera, who was starting to grow on me. Honestly, this isn’t the Bottom Three I would have chosen. I’d have thrown Anton and 4th Impact in there somewhere.

Final Showdown

Mason Noise sang “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men, and I actually think this was his weakest vocal of the competition. Never mind the awkwardness of playing a farewell video on the screen behind him, depicting his journey throughout the competition. I can certainly appreciate what they were going for, but I don’t think showing Mason’s six-chair challenge again is going to do him any favors.

Seann Miley Moore sang “A Song For You” by Donny Hathaway. I absolutely loved this, and you could tell how emotional he was throughout the performance, fighting back tears almost the whole way through. I feel awful for Seann because he strikes me as the type of person who would view an elimination here as a rejection of him as a person, when I really think this was just a freak accident of a result. Everyone was just so strong last night, and Seann wasn’t at his best. That’s the only explanation I can think of, because the alternative is that the UK just doesn’t get Seann, for whatever reason.

Final Result

Simon Cowell voted to eliminate Mason Noise
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini voted to eliminate Mason Noise
Rita Ora voted to eliminate Seann Miley Moore
Nick Grimshaw voted to eliminate Seann Miley Moore

SEANN MILEY MOORE is eliminated from THE X FACTOR UK 2015!

For crying out loud, I knew it. I knew this garbage would happen. If you’d told me that Mason Noise, Max Stone, and even Reggie N Bollie would outlast Seann, I’d have thought you were crazy. If you’d told me Seann would go home in Week Two, I’d have had you committed. This is downright absurd, and I’m still struggling to get over this result. Why even have a sing-off anymore? I kind of blame Rita, because the minute she voted to send home Seann, this was definitely going to deadlock. And once it went to deadlock, I had almost no doubt Seann was going home. And the problem with this decision is that Mason is just going to go home next week. But had Seann been saved? He was still someone who could have carried this momentum to possibly go really far in the competition. This is madness.

What did you think of the result? Sound off in the comments!
