The X Factor Australia 2015 Results: Guy Sebastian Acts Square Off In Show Down (VIDEO)

The X Factor Australia 2015 is getting down to the nitty-gritty, as the Top 8 became the Top 7 in a dramatic live decider that saw one judge come one step closer to being the first judge knocked out of the competition altogether.

For the second time this season, two of Guy Sebastian’s acts landed in the Bottom 2. This week, it was his remaining two groups, Jess & Matt and In Stereo. Luckily enough for him, however, he didn’t need to vote against one of his two acts, since a majority had already been reached by the other judges before the vote even swung his way. But it was still a dramatic showdown, considering this is the second time Jess & Matt have faced elimination. On the one hand, these Bottom 2 appearances suggest that Australia just isn’t connecting with the duo, and that their run on the show might soon come to an end. On the other hand, Samantha Jade was no stranger to the Bottom 2 during her run on The X Factor Australia, and she ended up winning the show! So anything goes, for the most part.

Chris Isaak voted to eliminate In Stereo

IN STEREO is eliminated from THE X FACTOR AUSTRALIA 2015!

Ultimately, this was the right call. In Stereo were the weakest act from last night, and they’d pretty much run their course on the series anyhow. That said, the boys were total class acts in their exit, and I really do wish the best for them as they pursue their music career. If they keep at it, they could be a very successful act.

What did you think of this result? Was it the right Bottom 2? If not, whom would you have switched out? Sound off in the comments!
