The Wanted: “Christina Aguilera is a Total Bitch” – Video

Looks like The Wanted weren’t impressed by a certain judge from The Voice. The group were left scared by Christina Aguilera when she wasn’t as welcoming as they expected. They go on to describe her as a “total bitch” and “a bit scary and rude.”

That’s what the boy band is saying after they came away from an appearance on The Voice feeling most unwanted by the superstar judge.

“She’s a total bitch,” band member Tom Parker tells 92.3 Now radio station in New York. “She just sat there and didn’t speak to us. Wouldn’t even look at us.”

Bandmate Max George called the songstress “a bit scary” and “quite rude.”

But a source who was on set when the band performed last week denies that Aguilera, 31, purposely gave them the cold shoulder.

“There was no opportunity for interaction at any point during the show or prior to the show,” the source says. “The first time Christina saw them was when she was already seated in her coach’s chair and they were performing.”

Whatever! I Love Christina, and whether or not this is true, doesn't change my opinion on her. But who are these guys?

Honestly, Christina only looks pissed because she's studying her notes. That's why the serious look. You can tell she's written down everything she wants to say to the contestants.

As for interaction backstage, she's a mom. She probably doesn't talk to anyone off set because she rushes to go take care of her child.

This is pretty funny because the People report that there was no opportunity for interaction completely contradicts what other Christina Aguilera fans have been posting from "a backstage source" saying The Wanted's Tom asked Christina Aguilera if she felt better having lost weight. I think it's dumb to assume either of these reports is right.

Either way, I don't know why everyone's so up in arms. I think Christina Aguilera's music is great and same with The Wanted, but this is absolutely not the first time Christina Aguilera has been called a bitch by people in the music industry. Mary J Blige is an example of one such person and people wouldn't be all "Who are you Mary J? We don't even know you. Christina Aguilera is the Queen" if it was her that made the headline. A celebrity's fame does not qualify or disqualify them from commenting on someone else's personality.

But I will say it's probably not the best decision to make enemies while trying to get a foothold in America, but I guess that's The Wanted's appeal...being the bad boys. (I don't think they were trying to be bad boys; I think they were just speaking their honest opinion)
