The Voice iTunes Charts: Jordan Smith Hits #1, Amy Vachal at #6, Jeffery Austin at #9

The Top 12 performed last night for the first time on The Voice 9! While some acts performed better than others, it was a pretty solid show overall. It’s likely to be a close result, however, since tonight’s results show will feature a twist: for the first time in Top 12 history, only ONE artist will go home! The Top 12 will become the Top 11 after the sing-off and Instant Save.

But one of those at-risk competitors is unlikely to be Jordan Smith, who landed at No. 1 on the iTunes Top 100! His version of gospel hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” was the top-performing track of the week, outranking every one of his competitors. It was an outstanding performance that resulted in a standing ovation and a big hug from Adam, so the high ranking for Jordan’s song isn’t exactly a huge shock. But No. 1? We’re absolutely stoked over here. Seriously. And it’s not even his only track in the Top 30 either, as his stunning rendition of “Halo” from last week’s live playoffs is sitting pretty at No. 16, above many of last night’s acts!

However, Jordan wasn’t the only person to crack the Top 10 this week, as fellow Team Adam artist Amy Vachal came in at No. 6 with her unique version of Drake’s “Hotline Bling”, a personal best for the singer. She was accompanied in the Top 10 by Team Gwen’s Jeffery Austin, who reached No. 9 with his outstanding version of “Let It Go” by James Bay.

A couple acts fell just outside the Top 10, charting inside the Top 30 for the night. Team Blake basically rounded out the Top 30, with Barrett Baber landing at No. 13 with his heartfelt version of Richard Marx’s “Right Here Waiting”, while Emily Ann Roberts came in at No. 21 with her take on “Blame It On Your Heart” by Patty Loveless. Lastly, Zach Seabaugh came in at No. 27 with his version of “My Love” by Easton Corbin.
