NPR has released a full album stream of the Great Gatsby soundtrack. We’ve been covering the track by track leaks here on the site, but you can now judge every song for yourself HERE. You won’t be disappointed if you click through.

As I’ve stated previously, I love the Lana Del Rey track “Young And Beautiful.” She was an effortless fit for this soundtrack. I also appreciate what Emile Sande and The Bryan Ferry Orchestra did with Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” from the perspective of judging the track as something that would play over a scene in The Great Gatsby, as opposed to a standalone piece of music. On the flip side, I completely enjoyed Bryan Ferry’s own track with The Bryan Ferry Orchestra. “Love Is The Drug” works on its own. If you like The xx, you’ll love their contribution, “Together.” You either love them or you don’t. Jack White’s cover of U2’s “Love Is Blindness” is most definitely worth a listen.

Overall, there’s clearly a reason why the Jay-Z produced soundtrack has been so highly anticipated. He’s managed to adequately string together a cohesive sound across an extremely varied group of artists, tinging each artist’s contribution with just the right amount of Gatsby. Did you take a listen to the full soundtrack to The Great Gatsby yet? You can check out Lana Del Rey’s “Young And Beautful” below if you’d like a taste.

Thank you to NPR again for offering up this Full Listen.
