The Bachelorette 2016 Results: Who Went Home In Episode 5?
The results are in for The Bachelorette 2016 Episode 5, as we see how everyone holds it together in a post-Chad world!
With Chad eliminated, the tension was considerably higher, as the guys quickly turned on each other. Turns out, Chad was a necessary evil, since he provided a distraction for the guys, and a common enemy for them to unite against. But now? It was an open war for JoJo’s time and attention, all leading up to a dramatic Rose Ceremony within the very first half hour of the show. You’d think with Chad gone, the drama would come to a stop. But you’d be wrong.
Not only did the producers confront JoJo about an article in In Touch Magazine, featuring comments from her ex-boyfriend Chad about how she dumped him just to go on The Bachelor, the men read the article as well! It was a slimy move by producers, and it didn’t amount to much drama beyond making JoJo upset (video below). However, we did get some jealousy among the guys when Derek received a group date rose, with Alex going as far as to call him “an insecure little bitch” for needing validation — despite the fact that he pretty much told JoJo he needed the same thing. Yeah, back-and-forth business as usual for the guys.
But I’m burying the lede a bit here: the big news is that we got TWO Rose Ceremonies tonight! A total of six men were eliminated! So who went home? Check out the results below:
Rose Ceremony #1
Chad (and this time, it’s official!)
Daniel (awww, I’ll miss the kooky Canadian)
James F. (seems like a sweet guy, actually. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him on Bachelor In Paradise)
Rose Ceremony #2
Grant (looks like JoJo was extinguishing the fire this time)
Evan (it was FAR past time for him to go)
Vinny (he may be a barber, but JoJo was the one doing the cutting)
But what did you think of the results? Sound off in the comments!
