My criticism of Terry is that again I get the feeling that I am watching a tribute band and not a star of his own right. I know he went off on his own a bit at one point. I do have to say this is the first time I heard his accent come across in a song, and I wonder if that is because the original was also from the Islands.  I don't think he can win it, but with so many better singers already knocked off who knows what the public is voting for.
