Ted Cruz And John Kasich Team Up To Stop Donald Trump

GOP presidential candidates Ted Cruz and John Kasich are no longer trying to get the nomination for themselves. Their primary motivation now is that frontrunner Donald Trump doesn’t get it.

Cruz and Kasich announced a deal on Sunday to “stop Trump.”

In a statement, Cruz said that he will focus his attention on Indiana while Kasich will devote his resources in Oregon and New Mexico.

The statement read:

“Having Donald Trump at the top of the ticket in November would be a sure disaster for Republicans. To ensure that we nominate a Republican who can unify the Republican Party and win in November, our campaign will focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Gov. Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico, and we would hope that allies of both campaigns would follow our lead.”

Oh my.

Looks like the Republican convention will be very interesting this year.

Donald Trump’s supporters to should step up their efforts to get the nomination outright with enough delegates. It’s still possible.
