FOX did something new this year with it’s annual upfront presentation: it introduced a fan element so we were first to see footage from new shows and meet all the TV stars as they walked the carpet. A rumor indicates that Simon Cowell is looing at music stars Rihanna and Chris Brown to replace departing judges on The X Factor. The report says that he may want Fenty to join the US or UK panel, and for the “Deuces” singer to join the U.S. team.

American Idol superstar Kristy Lee Cook doesn’t have anything nice to say about Simon Cowell in a new interview with Michele Amabile Angermiller of the Hollywood Reporter.
She said that Simon is “not an artist.” She has a lot of anger issues more than four years after the show. Wow.

Simon Cowell called in to Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show this morning. He said a lot of interesting things, like drunk-tweeting on the plane the other day and his order to Demi Lovato to keep away from Niall Horan of One Direction.
But the biggest revelation is that he may have confirmed that Khloe Kardashian will indeed be the host of The X Factor. “It’s just up to the network,” he said.

Simon Cowell is unhappy that The Voice is premiering on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. He voiced his outrage over at TMZ.
Basically, The X Factor is going against The Voice and America’s Got Talent on Wednesday, then AGT’s finale on Thursday. So chances are, his show won’t have the “redemption” premiere ratings he was hoping for after last year’s “20 million viewers or nothing” snafu.
