Nick Cannon tells TMZ that American Idol will have to pay Mariah Carey double what they paid Jennifer Lopez if they want her to judge the show next season.
So I guess it’s safe to say that Mimi is NOT in play at this point since American Idol is rumored to be downsizing for Season 12.

Nick Cannon has Lupus-like Autoimmune Disease
America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon revealed that he has an autoimmune disease similar to lupus. He told PEOPLE: “They kind of say [my] autoimmune [disease] is – like a lupus type of thing, but no one else in my family has it.”
Nick was hospitalized in January for mild kidney failure and then one a week later for blood clots in his lungs. He has already resigned from his radio job in New York to take care of his health. He will still be hosting AGT.
