Fierce Five pull coast-to-coast double duty – Video

Just because their Media Blitz is over doesn’t mean the Fierce Five still rule the world. The quintet still set out to make some promotional appearances before the start on their Kelloggs Tour for the fall & winter. Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross & McKayla Maroney threw the first pitch at the Dodgers’ game this weekend while Jordyn Wieber and Aly Raisman made an appearance on Live! with Kelly & Michael this morning and showed them a few tips.

The girls will present this Thursday at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, and Douglas, Ross & Maroney will appear on Ellen next Monday.

Frank Ocean added to performers for 2012 MTV VMAs

Good news for Frank Ocean and R&B fans alike. The R&B star will bring his talents to his biggest stage yet, performing at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. Although Ocean debuted with great album numbers, this performance will definitely stir sales once again. Ocean joins Rihanna, One Direction, Alicia Keys & and more who are performing. The presenters include 2 Chainz, Ke$ha, and the 2012 US Women’s Olympic Gymnastics Team (Fierce Five). The show is set to air Thursday September 6th.

Fierce Five stop by Letterman & GMA, ring NYSE bell – Video

The gold-winning USA Olympic Gymnastic Team, consisting of Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber continued their promotional tour last night and this morning when they stopped by The Late Show with David Letternan last night, and this morning on Good Morning America. The five had a hilarious interview with Letterman and also discussed London 2012, their lives, endorsements, and Rio on both. They also went to ring the bell as the New York Stock Exchange. Be sure to catch them on The Colbert Report tonight on Comedy Central.

Fierce Five appear on Today Show, meet Nicki Minaj – Video

The Fierce Five, also known as the U.S. Women’s Olympic Gymnastics team – Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Jordyn Weiber, Kyla Ross and Aly Raisman, made their first televised appearance as a group since returning from London with the gold. The quintet answered fan questions, hosted the weather segment, and talked about what’s up next in their lives. They also met pop stars Nicki Minaj and Jordin Sparks who were on hand appearing for the show as well. Watch the team tonight as they will appear on The Late Show with David Letterman.

USA Olympic Gymnastics set for media blitz this week

After their stunning showing at the Olympics, the Fierce Five USA women’s gymnastic squad, featuring All-Around gold medalist Gabby Douglas, the decorated Aly Raisman, and other team members McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Weiber are set to rule our TV screens this week with numerous appearances on television shows. Men’s olympic team member, John Orozco, will also be appearing on a show as well.

It all begins tonight with Gabby’s appearance on Leno as the rest of the team joins her for the remainder of the week and Orozco’s will come Thursday.
