2012 American Music Awards Nominations announced
The nominations for the 2012 American Music Awards are in! Rihanna and Nicki Minaj lead the nom count with 4 nominations each. Drake, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Rihanna are up for Artist of the Year. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood got two nods each.

Katy Perry rejects $20 million American Idol offer
Katy Perry is not interested in judging American Idol. TMZ reports that Perry rejected a $20 million offer. Wow, that’s even more than Mariah Carey’s $18 million.
It’s nice to know that Katy Perry has good work ethic. Sitting behind a desk once a week is a job for lazy people.

American Idol Season 11 Top 6 Results Recap
Well, as I prepare for the results show, I just live in fear as to what might happen, and who I might still have to endure. Queen wasn’t too kind to the contestants, but that didn’t stop the hapless judges from jumping to their feet for three performances. And, if I remember correctly, they didn’t bother answering those performances when asked for the highlight of the sessions. Go figure.
