The Girls season finale saw the catastrophic unraveling of Hannah Horvath. Still, I oddly find her more together now than ever.

With one week until the finale, the Girls have continued to unravel. Will they “almost get it kind of together” in time?

In its second season, Girls has continuously taken us further into the lives of characters many had originally written off as unlikable. This week, “Video Games” took us to Upstate New York, to spend an entire episode exploring the relationship between Jessa and her estranged father.

For the second week in a row, Girls took a more serious look into the lives of Hannah and her friends. The show that is often known for comedically lampooning the lives of pretentious twenty-somethings is doing a fantastic job of showing that there are two sides to every coin.
