A big first for Danica Patrick, but an even bigger second for Jimmie Johnson.
Patrick made history up front at the Daytona 500 Sunday, only to see Johnson make a late push ahead of her and reclaim his spot at the top of his sport.
Twelve race cars were wrecked from a crash at Daytona 500. This occurred during their second day of “thunder testing” new cars.
Forget about the cars… I hope the drivers are okay! I wonder if anybody is seriously injured.

Here’s the video of Juan Pablo Montoya crashing into a jet dryer creating a fireball at the Daytona 500. The race has already been delayed one day due to rain, and now it’s been stopped with 40 laps to go.
This was crazy! Montoya (and the driver of the safety vehicle) are OK.
