After two misfires, Ciara is ready to give it another try with the new single “Body Party,” which is pending release any day now. Here is a snippet.
Nicki Minaj‘s “I’m Legit,” featuring Ciara, from Minaj’s Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up, has just surfaced online. Her collaboration with Lil Wayne surfaced earlier today.
I’m hearing good material from Minaj this time. Hopefully the music-buying public responds.

After a premiere campaign which saw it air on the big screens in Times Square tonight, the video for Ciara‘s new single “Got Me Good” has been released.

Ciara is set to premiere the music video for “Got Me Good” this Thursday. Ahead of its release, she has unveiled a preview video.
I will hold most judgement until the clip & song are release, but this sounds way too much like a swagged-out “Gimme Dat” and not enough commercial or radio-friendly. Hopefully I’m wrong. I’m still wondering where is Overdose.

With her new single “Sorry” set to make a splash on the charts in the coming weeks, Ciara is going down to South Africa to guest judge on Idols, the South African version of the Idol franchise.

Feels like we’ve been waiting forever for her new material, but Ciara keeping true to her word and will release the video for her new single “Sorry” on Thursday on 106 & Park.
From the sounds and looks of this preview, Ciara is serving up a great video and this first part of this song sounds like unique R&B and nothing like anything out right now. Do I since a musical evolution? Lets hope this results in success.
