Now Lloyd is attempting to get another smash with “With Ur Love,” by enlisting rising American rapper Juicy J. The original featured Mike Posner.

Cher Lloyd to debut in top ten of Billboard 200
Congratulations are in order for British pop star Cher Lloyd. Lloyd’s Sticks + Stones will debut at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart tomorrow. She sold about 33,000 copies. As previously reported, Miguel debuts at #3 with Kaleidoscope Dream, and America’s Got Talent’s Jackie Evancho‘s new album starts at #7 with 43,000.
Cher Lloyd feat. Becky G – Oath – Official Video
Cher Lloyd continues her plan for US domination with the release of the video for her second U.S. single, “Oath” featuring newcomer rapper Becky G. Appropriate and nice visual for this song. Hopefully it nets her another hit.
Her album Sticks + Stones expected to move 30-35k units this week, presumably earning her a top 10 Billboard 200 debut.

Cher Lloyd – Want U Back – Ellen – Video
She is the British invasion! UK pop star Cher Lloyd‘s debut album, Sticks + Stones was released today in the US. It stands at #6 on iTunes, and hopefully Lloyd nets a top debut for next week. She stopped by Ellen for a great rendition of her single “Want U Back” yesterday.
Food for thought: it’s something that Cher has cracked the US market before her rival/former mentor Cheryl Cole. Hm.

Cher Lloyd performs on the Today Show – Video
Pop star and X Factor UK alum Cher Lloyd brought her hits to The Today Show yesterday, performing her US smash hit, “Want U Back”, as well as “With Ur Love”, which was just recently announced as the new single in the states.
Cher gave two energetic and good performances, and hopefully it will pay off in album sales and the new single’s success. The US version of her debut Sticks + Stones will be available on October 2nd.

Cher Lloyd announces new US single & album artwork
After smashing the US charts with “Want U Back”, Cher Lloyd is ready to do it again with “With Ur Love.” The song reached #4 in the UK, and she is looking to do the same here. However, the US version will not feature Mike Posner. I’m not complaining about that, Posner’s verse did nothing for the original. However he did write the song, and some of his background vocals are still featured. She has also released the new US cover art to her album Sticks + Stones, released stateside on October 2nd.
