Switched At Birth Gets Extended 32 Episode Season
Switched At Birth fans will be happy to know that the show is such a hit. It’s doing so well that ABC Family has ordered an almost unheard of 32 episode first season for the show.
Switched At Birth is on hiatus until early 2012 (ugh) when the remaining 22 episodes will air.
We love this show! The more Sean the better.

Actually, if you read the article it says early 2012, which is a lot less than a year and a half. Other websites say the episodes will air in January, so we're looking at 3-4 months.
2012?? Geez. That's a great way to kill off the show despite all the buzz it's gotten over the past couple months. Hope they have something in place to keep the show at the forefront of people's minds for the next year & a half.
