Suspended WWE Star Adam Rose Arrested In Florida
Just a few weeks ago, WWE star Adam Rose was suspended for a second failure of the WWE Wellness Policy. Now, his situation has grown considerably worse, as Rose — real name Raymond Leppan — has been arrested in Florida.
Rose was arrested at 1:30 am Wednesday morning by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department. He is charged with tampering with a witness, and battery domestic violence. Rose is currently still in jail with no bond. Currently, there are no details on the victims in question.
Naturally, this makes Rose’s outlook for a continued career in WWE all the more bleak. It was bad enough when he fought his 60-day wellness suspension by taking the fight to social media, posting a doctor’s note arguing that the positive drug test was due to Adderall, which he takes for ADHD. Although he deleted many of the social media posts that attempted to explain his drug test failure, Rose did end up reposting the doctor’s note, stating that WWE knew about his prescription for more than a year. Unfortunately, whatever good the post might have done — and I’m not even really convinced the post did him any favors with WWE — has been undone by the events of this morning. With this arrest, Rose basically ensures his own release, as WWE has been in the firing mood this past week, letting go of Wade Barrett, Damien Sandow, Zeb Colter, El Torito, Hornswoggle, Santino Marella, Cameron, Alex Riley and “Brooklyn Brawler” Steve Lombardi, the longest-tenured active WWE employee. Regardless of whether or not Rose gets released, it seems clear he needs some kind of help. Here’s hoping he gets it.
