Sung-Bong Choi – Nella Fantasia – Korea’s Got Talent

Heard that his father dumped him in the orphanage, then he ran out of the orphanage, got kidnapped by some people and started selling gums and drinks on the street to survive. He studied alone and went to an art school to sing, but then he was too poor to keep on studying n his dad was keep looking for him just to get money from him. He suffered a lot to graduate. People put Susan Boyle everywhere, but Choi Sung Bong should be Choi Sung Bong, not Susan Boyle, 'cuz everyone has their own stories and singing styles. This Choi Sung Bong is something totally different.

A set up?What a loser comment!Even,granting it was...the TALENT is there for everyone to see and hear.Is he a Pro?....NO!that is the first time he is seen and heard by anyone and the show is clear as a blind person can see..It is"KOREA GOT TALENT'!and they got one....Go Sung sing your heart out and 'Bong' the hell out those who doubts...

I am so touched that the hardship he experienced did not make him bitter and defensive.
He accepted and move on and tried hard hopefully the place for him like he sang is brighter

I also cried .... but I still leave open the possibility of the manipulation. Anyway ... it doesn't matter .... I wish all the best to all people who try to achieve something good, who put the efford .... Who knows what's the true ...

But you see, even if Sung-bong Choi's story is not real .... the stories of many others children are !!! And ... did you ever made any efford to to something? To at least ask yourself what CAN you do? no ....

and so .... it's just a show.

I wouldn't say his own rendition of Nella Fantasia was as good as that of IL DIVO (am a big fan of II Divo) or that of the original version because, his, without a doubt, was the best I have ever heard!!! My goodness!.... It was truly amazing and inspiring. I did cry. Just like others, I would follow his progress and success on youtube.

Sorry, but this was a set up. He had a bad life, granted, but would he be going viral on just his voice alone? No.
SuBo didn't go to her audition and tell her whole life story, she was confident and it was real. This is another talent show gimmick for ratings and I hope that this young man won't end up hurt and used.

I cried like a fountain

Really, another one? As if the original Susan Boyle wasn't enough. We already had the 'Chinese Susan Boyle,' the 'Japanese Susan Boyle' and now the 'Korean Susan Boyle'?

This clip made me just realize again, how much I am over those over-choreographed sob-stories. I mean, the background music of that clip alone was hard to take, this was more pompous than the music for the Royal Wedding. Perfect audience manipulation, for sure. Must have been Simon's idea to start the franchise in Korea with yet another Susan-Boyle-story, it always works.

And frankly, I think he is right, he is not that great a singer. Of course, they glossed over that fact by making the backing track really loud and adding lots of reverb to his voice, so "nobody" will notice. And we will just ignore the pitch issues. Oh well, great audition. ;)

ohh man i can't believe he is so humble he said he was good enough so much and he was just stunning and that life that horrible omg he is so strong i really can't imagine and i couldn't done what he did overcoming all of that just ....ahhh speechless crying truly amazing :)
