‘Sharknado 3’ Production Stopped Due To Strike
Sharknado 3 production has been shut down by a labor strike on Tuesday. The Motion Picture Editors guild voted to strike for a IATSE union contract and workers picketed the film’s production office in Burbank.
Honestly this is instant karma for casting Mark Cuban and Ann Coulter as President and Vice President of the United States. Of course the workers would revolt. What was SyFy thinking?
The guild tweeted today:
This morning, the crew of “Sharknado 3” voted to strike for an @IATSE contract, halting production. #SharknadoStrike
The Editors Guild instructs members & prospective members not to render services on this production during the strike. #SharknadoStrike
If you receive a call to replace striking workers on #Sharknado3, call your local union immediately! #IATSE
