Scotty brings freshness, playfulness, and pure entertainment. He infuses country, rock, and rap. He is unique in his interpretation of story telling, music, and expression. Way beyond his 17 years!
Scotty is fantastic! What a voice! He is the perfect entertainer... dynamic, fun, charming, great personality and stage presence. He really knows how to engage the audience (unlike Pia.) I think he has a great chance to win.
I'm not a fan of country music by a wide stretch so why do I enjoy listening to and watching this guy perform?!!! I thought by this time I'd be bored to death with this one-lane singer! LOL go figure!
I love Scotty - he was entertaining and he definitely put a smile on my face - but I actually hope he doesn't win. He was born to sing traditonal country and I can honestly see him being way more successful if he was signed to another record not relating to American "Pop" Idol.
even though im not into country music...i think he has a big chance if winning this thing...he makes me like country.....always picking good songs!!!!
My husband and I go to the CMA Fest in Nashville every year, when all the stars perform for 5 days. It is clear that Scotty will be the headliner there and on the charts for years and years to come.
AMAZING...he even had a GROWL twice at the end that sounded animalistic, but in a good way.
Then he worked his voice in the middle.
Great Job Scotty.
Did any of you watch the country music awards the other night? Aside from Keith Urban (who has a different style than Scotty), there wasn't one decent voice among the men. Nobody can compare to the excellent vocal quality Scotty has. He is fantastic. Having seen Elvis in person (once personal and once professional), I can say that Scotty has everything to be proud of...okay, maybe he could have done without the deediddeeldees lol.
What a performance! This guy is entertaining, I look forward to his performances every week because of his personality and style.
I'm not Scotty's biggest fan but that was pretty good. I didn't think he'd still be on the show at this point, but he proved me wrong. Nice job, man.
That's just his thing - everyone has their thing - like I can't stand James' tail but I think he has a good voice. I can't stand the way Paul sings the songs or the way he moves around the stage - but they're his things to make him unique. Scotty's holding the mike and his personality and how he acts on stage make him unique - like the shaking of the hand - doesn't affect his voice - it's just his thing.
Country has wonderful male singers. Keith Urban, definately, but also Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Josh Turner, Trace Adkins. It goes on and on. Scotty is very good as well.
