Crooner Robin Thicke is set to score his first #1 on the Billboard 200 as his album, Blurred Lines, is set to debut on the chart next week.
Thicke is set to appear on the top of the chart with Blurred Lines, expected to sell around 135,000 copies by the end of the week. This should also be his best sales week since 2008′s Something Else debuted with 137,000. This will be Thicke’s first #1 album. His last album, Love After War, debuted at #22 with 47,000 sold.
If “Blurred Lines,” the single stays at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 next week, Thicke will be the first artist since Rihanna in December 2012 to have a single and album atop the charts simultaneously.
