‘So You Think You Can Dance’ renewed for Season 10

FOX has renewed So You Think You Can Dance for Season 10!

The reality TV world rejoices! I thought this show was a goner for sure. The first audition city is Austin, TX.

Nigel Lythgoe: “Mike Darnell fired Lauren Sanchez as host of SYTYCD because she was pregnant”

Here’s a video of Nigel Lythgoe telling Lauren Sanchez to her face that Mike Darnell, the head of alternative programming on FOX, fired her as host of So You Think You Can Dance after the first season because she was pregnant.

He adds that “it should be illegal.” Well, it is! The Civil Rights Act of 1964 says that “Employers who have at least 15 workers are not allowed to fire or force a worker to leave because she is pregnant.”

Let’s hope that Lauren has lawyered up!

Mary Murphy loses second lawsuit against ex-manager

A judge in San Diego threw out Mary Murphy‘s lawsuit against her ex-manager Michael Sanchez on November 9, 2012. This is Mary’s second loss against Sanchez in court. On November 8, a judge ordered Mary to pay her ex-manager $205,160, after she failed to issue a response to his “Sexaholic” lawsuit against her.

Mary Murphy just lost a lawsuit filed by her former manager Michael Sanchez who described her as a “cocaine-fueled nymphomaniac,” TMZ reports.

Mary did not file an official response, and the judge issued a default judgement.

Carly Rae Jepsen to Perform ‘This Kiss’ on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Finale

Carly Rae Jepsen will perform her new song “This Kiss” on the season 9 finale of So You Think You Can Dance. The finale airs Tuesday, September 18 (8:00-10:00 PM ET). In addition to the final four, we will get to see the entire top twenty perform again, plus some of the judges favorite dances of the season. Should be a great night of dancing!
