In part 1 of the season 10 Project Runway finale, we get to visit the designer’s homes and see how their collections are going before heading to the runway that will determine who gets to show their collections at New York Fashion Week.

On Project Runway season 10, episode 11, “It’s Fashion Baby,” the designers were tasked with creating both an outfit for a baby/toddler for Heidi Klum’s “Truly Scrumptious” fashion line and a companion look for their baby’s mama.  I’m sure they really thought this was a great idea for a challenge and not just an excuse to plug Heidi’s clothing line.  I’m just sure of it!

On Project Runway season 10, episode 10, “I Get A Kick Out of Fashion”  the designers were challenged to create a costume for the Rockettes.  The winning design will be featured in a future Rockettes performance.

On Project Runway season 10, episode 9, “It’s All About Me”  the designers were tasked with creating their own pattern, based on their own cultural history.  The designers also got a visit from Project Runway All-stars winner Mondo and some very special guests.

On Project Runway season 10, episode 8, “Starving Artist”  the designers had to work in teams again.  This time they would design a two look fall collection with the twist being that they would have to sell arts & crafts to raise the funds for their materials.

Project Runway’s seventh episode of the tenth season, “Oh My Lord and Taylor” had the designers all competing to get their look manufactured, sold and in a display window at Lord and Taylor.
