‘Reality Check’: Is ‘American Idol XIV’ the Most Unpredictable Season Ever? (VIDEO)

TVLine.com‘s resident reality TV expert Michael Slezak is back with American Idol 6 finalist Melinda Doolittle for an all-new episode of Reality Check, as the duo takes a look into the highs and lows of the week for American Idol XIV and The Voice 8!

Actually, this week, they take a week off from The Voice to deliver what just might be the longest episode in the history of Reality Check! As expected, Michael and Melinda are absolutely devastated to have lost Sarina-Joi Crowe, even though they were begrudgingly expecting it. But there’s a lot more to discuss than the unfortunate loss of Sarina, as Michael and Melinda find themselves wondering if this might not actually be a woman’s season after all, as Joey Cook, Tyanna Jones, and Adanna Duru stepped up to potentially make this the most unpredictable season in American Idol history, with Joey’s “Fancy” and Tyanna’s “Tight Rope” competing for best of the week for Michael and Melinda.

But what happened with Jax’s performances of “Blank Space” and “I Wanna Hold Your Hold”? What was Clark thinking with his song choice on Thursday? What’s the problem keeping Rayvon Owen from reaching his full potential? And where the hell did Qaasim’s vocals go?!

It’s the best episode of Reality Check so far this season! Watch the full video below:
