Ratings: ‘The Voice’ up, wins Monday – 4/16/2013

UPDATE: The Voice adjusted up to a 5.2! WOW! Amazing, amazing.

The Voice had a 5.1 adult rating, up 2% from last week. It was #1 and had its highest rated show of the season. It had 14.29 million viewers. Amazing! The Battle Round was great last night.

Dancing with the Stars had a 2.2 rating and 13.41 million viewers.

On NBC, The Voice earned a season high 5.1 adults 18-49 rating, up 2 percent from last week’s 5.0 adults 18-49 rating. It was the show’s best 18-49 numbers since March 12, 2012. The news special Terror In Boston scored a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating, up 41 percent from Revolution’s 2.2 in the time period last week.

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother scored a season low 2.6 adults 18-49 rating down 4 percent from a 2.7 on March 25. Rules of Engagement earned a season low 2.0 among adults 18-49 down 9 percent from a 2.2 on March 25. 2 Broke Girls garnered a series low 2.3 adults 18-49 rating down 23 percent from a 3.0 on March 25. Mike & Molly notched a series low 2.2 among adults 18-49 down 15 percent from a 2.6 on March 25. Hawaii Five-O tied its series low with a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating down 14 percent from a 2.1 on March 25.

On ABC, Dancing with the Stars scored a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating up 5 percent from last week’s 2.1. Castle earned a 2.1 down 5 percent from a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating on April 1.

Viewers: 15.42 million (#1), A18-49: 5.8/14 (#1) at the end WOW

it was a great episode! the Coaches panel has never worked better than this one, Shakira has 10000x the charisma than xtina has and Usher removes the nonsense of ceelo and adds way more critique.

@realphill I know I'm biased for Usher, but he really brings star power to this show. The same with Shakira. Now The Voice really has a panel where you feel you are being mentored by someone who knows their stuff.

The absence of Christina is that there are no more "hate watchers" -- which apparently is a good thing because the ratings have been inching up. For the Battle Rounds? That's amazing!

Kinda interesting to see if there will be a intra-Voice season rivalry developing after this.
