Ratings: American Idol 12 down 17% from last year, down 10% from last week
American Idol 12 had a 5.4 adult rating on Wednesday, down 17% from a comparable show from last year. The show had 16 million viewers, losing 3.67 million from last season and 2.91 million from last Wednesday’s premiere.
Any predictions for tonight’s ratings? The Big Bang Theory is on repeat so there may be some breathing room.
On FOX, American Idol earned a 5.4, down 10% from a 6.0 among adults 18-49 for last week’s premiere.
Modern Family scored a season-low 4.1 down 5 percent from last week’s 4.3 adults 18-49 rating. Nashville notched a 1.8, down 18 percent from last week’s 2.2 adults 18-49 rating.
On CBS, Criminal Minds earned a 3.0 up 3% from last week’s 2.9. CSI scored a season high 2.7 up 17% from last week’s 2.3.
On The CW, Arrow garnered a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating, even with last week. Supernatural notched a 0.9, among adults 18-49, also even with last week. CW fans take note: last night the network beat NBC.

actually in terms of current network TV numbers these are still monster size numbers.....people forget how much network TV ratings have eroded and 16 is VERY BIG.....im not certain but didnt numbers settle in around 13-14 million last year as season progressed?
