RaeLynn of The Voice Season 2 has signed with the new joint venture of Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Music and Dr. Luke’s Prescription Songs. She starts working on her debut album this week. Congratulations!
RaeLynn, the former country-singer contestant on “The Voice” who has since forged a professional relationship with Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, signed her first music publishing deal Wednesday and will start work on her debut album next week.
Raelynn, who turns 19 next month, is the first artist to sign with the new joint venture between Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Music and Dr. Luke’s Prescription Songs. She has been collaborating with numerous writers since signing with Big Machine after she was cut loose during season two of “The Voice,” most recently with Prescription’s Koool Kojak (Flo Rida’s “Right Round,” Ke$ha’s “Blow”).
“We’ve got a new song called ‘Taco Bell and Tiffany’s',” RaeLynn announced to a small gathering prior to the ASCAP Pop Awards Wednesday night in Hollywood.
