Pomplamoose – Nataly Dawn, Jack Conte
Nataly Dawn and Jack Conte make up the indie band Pomplamoose, based out of San Francisco. Between Nataly’s beautiful voice, which is reminiscent of Regina Spektor/Adele/Ingrid Michaelson and Jack Conte’s musical talent and acting, Pomplamoose has become very popular on YouTube and beyond. From their use of uncommon instruments to their video production, they always place their homemade touch to their performances. In April of 2010, their cover of Mr. Sandman was used in a Toyota Avalon commercial that appeared in the US. Their addictive version of Lady Gaga’s Telephone, has at current over 3.5 million views. They are currently ranked 44th Most Subscribed Of All Time on YouTube.

This 27 year old Canadian singer from La Salle Quebec, is one stunning diva. Having been discovered by Mariah Carey’s producer Ben Margulies, she has sung in major motion picture sound tracks and has had her own debut album, Everything Or Nothing, which is released on iTunes. Her distinctive voice, range and control has proven she is a force to be reckon with. It was on March of 2007, when her career breakthrough seemed elusive that Lisa created a YouTube account and began posting videos of herself performing her own songs and has had a steady gain of loyal subscribers. Entertainment Tonight Canada dubbed her an “Internet singing sensation”.
In February of 2010, Lisa conceived, organized and performed in the “We Are The World 25 For Haiti (YouTube Edition)” which currently has over 2.7 million views. She was interviewed by CNN and ABC World News in which all of the contributors to the video were named ABC News’ “Person Of The Week” for March 19, 2010. She is the 2nd Most Subscribed Musician (Canada), 9th Most Subscribed of All Time (Canada) and 35th Most Suscribed Musician of All Time.

Ricardo Munoz is more proof that there is a lot of musical talent in The Netherlands. Being born in Germany, his family moved to Holland, where Ricardo joined his first band. He got his break when his brother and lead singer moved to Germany. The band broke up and Ricardo began working on his vocals. In 2004, he became the lead singer of a band, What About Joshua and they released their first CD. The next year, inspired by singers such as John Mayer, Timbaland and Amos Lee, he decided to go solo and advance his career. As a singer/songwriter, he is often at work in his home studio or attending the Pop Academy in Leeuwarden, Holland. He is the 28th Most Subscribed Musician in The Netherlands on YouTube.
