A Live-Action Play-Doh Movie is in the Works (Thanks a Lot ‘LEGO Movie’)

Most likely due to the success of The LEGO Movie, 20th Century Fox is in the process of trying to team up with Hasbro to bring us The Play-Doh Movie.

Rather than claymation (which is the route we expected), the film will be live-action. Whatever that means.

Screen Shot 2015-04-03 at 6.43.30 PMAccording to a report from Deadline, the studio is currently in negotiations with Bridesmaids and new Ghostbusters director Paul Feig.

If your memory fails you, this won’t be the first time Hasbro has made a film based on a toy line. Currently in existence is Ouija, Battleship and far too many G.I. Joe movies.

The toy company is currently hard at work on Jem and the Holograms and a film based on Magic the Gathering.
