Phillip the Duck Gets 3-D Printed Flippers! (VIDEO)

Phillip the duck sadly lost his flippers when they became frostbitten and damaged during this year’s cold winter in Wisconsin.

Thankfully, thanks to 3-D printing and some ingenuity from a middle school teacher, after only six weeks he has brand new flippers and is doing great!

Using a product called ninja flex, Phillip’s new legs took around 36 hours to print from start to finish.

While it will take a little while for Phillip to get completely adjusted to his new appendages, the fine-feathered friend is already being sent to an animal sanctuary to live with his own kind.
