Pharrell Premieres Powerful ‘Freedom’ Music Video

Pharrell Williams has a new single out, and the music video is as powerful as the song itself.

“Freedom” is a powerful, evocative music video that explores injustice in various forms, whether it’s workers confined to sweatshops, or the unfortunate souls confined to work camps under the baking sun. We even get some recreations of iconic moments throughout history, such as a LEGO version of the protest at Tienanmen Square. Directed by Paul Hunter, the music video features Pharrell traveling the globe, and delivering a really passionate performance. In a comment on YouTube, Pharrell would add, “I don’t care who you are, where you’re from, or how much money you have. You deserve FREEDOM.” This is a terrific music video, and you can watch the whole thing below:
