Paul Ryan Goes After Donald Trump And White Supremacist Groups
Republican Speaker of the House, and former vice presidential nominee, Paul Ryan has spoken out against Donald Trump and his support for white Supremacist groups on Tuesday as voters head to the polls on Super Tuesday.
He made the comments after Donald Trump refused to denounce the support of the KKK’s David Duke and other white supremacist groups last Sunday. Trump blamed a “faulty earpiece” during the interview.
Paul Ryan said of candidates running for president:
“They must reject any group that is built on bigotry. This party does not prey on people’s prejudices. This is the party of Lincoln.”
