OMI’s ‘Cheerleader’ Is Officially The No. 1 Song of the Summer (VIDEO)

“Cheerleader” by Jamaican reggae/pop artist OMI is officially Billboard’s No. 1 song of the summer of 2015.

The single tops the annual Songs of the Summer chart, which tracks the most popular hits based on cumulative performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” – which actually led the chart at the beginning until OMI stepped in – was at No. 2.

Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” was at No. 3, The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” at No. 4 and Silento’s “Watch Me” at No. 5.

Personally, I love “Cheerleader.” Well deserved place at the top!
