Nigel Lythgoe has a new show – A Chance To Dance
Reality TVIs Nigel Lythgoe on his way out of American Idol? He’s not even hiding the fact that he is working on another new show at the moment. Clearly he has not been giving 100% to American Idol and the show is paying for it with a sharp decline in ratings this season.
He is currently working on American Idol as well as So You Think You Can Dance (auditions, etc) and now this new show which he just announced. If I was an executive at FOX, I would definitely be concerned that their top cash cow program’s showrunner is getting distracted by side projects.
So what’s his new show about?
The new show is called ‘A Chance To Dance’ and auditions start on March 28, 2012 at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, DC.
I guess it’s another dance show.
