New Reality TV Show ‘Crazy Hearts: Nashville’ To Air
A new reality TV show called Crazy Hearts: Nashville will air on A&E.
It will display the lives of aspiring country artists and industry insiders in an eight-episode run. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series will “go backstage into the lives and lyrics of several up-and-coming musicians as they try to hit it big, fall in love and live to sing about it.” We can also expect “love triangles and fiery relationships that will cause rivalry both on- and off-stage.”
There is no air date yet for the new show, but it’ll add to the list of adverts for the city of Nashville through TV shows in the coming months. ABC’s Nashville season 2 is set to begin on September 25 at 10/9c, and a new docu-series called Nashville Confidential, which will follow Nashville’s music business power couples, will air in early 2014 on TNT.
It sure sounds like something to set the DVR for, if only we knew when it was starting! I’ll be interested to see the kind of angle they go for. I imagine it will be a Nashville version of some of the other semi-scripted reality shows going around, and probably will only show that version of Nashville they “want” you to see. However, will still be something to keep an eye out for. I’ll keep you posted.
