NBC Renews Smash For Second Season

NBC announced today that the hit show Smash has been renewed for a second season. The season will get at least 15 episodes. We love this show!!!!

Smash‘s Season 2 order is for at least 15 episodes, says a network source. As previously reported, the 15-episode freshman run will “take Marilyn to an out-of-town tryout, her first really public presentation,” per series creator and Broadway vet Theresa Rebeck. Season 2 will ultimately follow the production to Broadway and raise the question, “How does Marilyn fare in New York?”

Kat McPhee is so perfect for this role. I just figured I'd watch 'Smash' once to "check in" on her and see how she's looking, singing, etc., lately. But I've watched every episode. (And I wasn't that big of a fan of hers on Idol, though i was pulling for her at the end.)
